Fox Business Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Fox Business (officially known as Fox Business Network) is an American pay television business news channel that is owned by the Fox News Media division of Fox Corporation. The network discusses business and financial news. Day-to-day operations are run by Kevin Magee, executive vice president of Fox News; Neil Cavuto manages content and business news coverage. As of February 2015, Fox Business Network is available to approximately 74,224,000 pay television households (63.8% of households with television) in the United States.

Published in an article on Film Daily "Word of sexual abuse & harassment in the Fox newsroom finally leaked in 2016 when Gretchen Carlson sued former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes for sexual harassment. After this widespread scandal, more and more stories started to come forth from the shadows. The abuse of Roger Ailes, along with film producer Harvey Weinstein, of course, is what helped spark the #MeToo movement. Women of Fox News suddenly were able to come forward with more stories of sexual harassment. Their voices were being heard – and they still are. How do we know this? Well, the list of Fox News sexual offenders continues to grow. Here’s every member of Fox News staff who’s been accused of sexual harassment: Ed Henry, Roger Ailes, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity & Francisco Cortes."

Social Media Producer (Former Employee) says

"Working for Fox is like running on the train tracks - thrilling, but dangerous. The work is fun, the people are good, but there is no work-life balance and little room for advancement."

Manager, Production and Operations (Current Employee) says

"It is hectic non -stop workplace if you work in production. LIve 15 hours a day, no time to eat or take a break so be prepared. Does not leave enough time for daily job functions such as writing reviews. That has to be done on your own time."

Green Room Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"While at Fox Business Network, my primary job was to escort guests from the lobby in to the Green Room where they would get their hair and makeup done for their on air interviews. I would also make guest lists for the makeup artists in order to prioritize appointments. While I enjoyed my time at Fox Business Network, it was only part time, and I left for full time employment."

Associate Producer (Current Employee) says

"I've worked at Fox Business for 6+ years, on the same show. I have worked under nearly a dozen different managers during that time and the turnover rate of employees at times is very frequent. For our particular show, the stress level is at a consistent high and the same job in other places is paid quite a bit more. It is a competitive field and not one I recommend for most people."

GRAPHIC ARTIST (Current Employee) says

"It was as a great stepping stone. The benefits weren't bad, especially if you have a family. But if your serious about career advancement, there comes a point when its time to move on."

"Coworkers have become friends"

Producer of Visual Display (Current Employee) says

"Fox is a great place to work if you're looking to gain experience. They will work you to the bone and make excuses not to pay you more than standard of living wages during yearly reviews. Other companies pay much better."

National/International Business Assignment Editor (Former Employee) says

"Low turnaround"

Associate Producer, Fox Business Briefs (Former Employee) says

"Productive, challenging environment."
